Celebrating freedom

On May 5th every year, Dutch citizens everywhere celebrate the free society they live in. 14 different 'Bevrijdingsfestivals' take place across the country, featuring both Dutch and international artists. We were asked to come up with a new identity for them, and create useful brand guidelines all 14 parties could work with. Our identity is inspired by a traditional element the organisation has been using for years: the freedom fire. Using this freedom fire, we created our own pattern and hand-drawn typography
